My Weekend

Here's a review of my weekend! Saturday started off great..... nice and relaxing! I cleaned house and then actually had some scrappy time! I finished this page for the Week #1 Word Challenge at Scrap-Friendzy! We had to use the word "FUN" on a page. Here's what I did:
I used the October Afternoon Detours line that I've had in my stash forever and added some Kaiser wooden swirls that I picked up at Photolicious. I created this photo collage in Photoshop.
As with every other page I create lately, lots of distressing, machine stitching and Dark Brown fluid chalk!

Saturday night, Mama had to be taken back to the hospital in Houston. She had some complications with the chemo and another shot she got last week.... so, that meant no sleep for me since I was worried about her AND the fact that Daddy left it up to me to handle church Sunday morning!! Yikes! I had to come up with something to speak on last minute... needless to say, we sang some extra songs! Singing, I can handle! Preaching, not so much!!! But it worked out, and Mama is home now and doing much better.
Just getting ready for another busy week ahead. The girls have a ton of things going on as usual and I'm still working on recovering all of my work files from my harddrive crashing last week on my laptop... Fun!Fun! My plan is to squeeeeeeeze in some scrappy time, so wish me luck!!
