I STINK....

...... at blogging!! lol!!! I can't believe it's been over a month since my last post!! Wow...where do I start? Things have been craaaaazy in our lives lately!!!
I pretty much live my life as my kids' personal assistant, maid, couselor, coach, nurse, cook & chauffer!!! Between dance, sports, school & church activities, we are always on the go..... but, I wouldn't trade it for anything! Things will probably be pretty nuts until school get's out for Summer!
Here are some highlights of March 2009 @ The Gaskins' House:
Beth made cheerleader on the 13th!!! We are so proud of her. She worked really hard and all of her dedication paid off! Here's the new squad!(She's in the middle on the top row)

My MawMaw turned 70 on the 12th, so we decided to surprise her with a party on that Saturday. Ally was our official party planner! {She is soooooo my child!!!LOL} She wanted to do EVERYTHING! She was in charge of the food, decorating, and EVEN decorated the cake herself! For Christmas last year, she got cake decorating supplies because she LOVES to cook & bake, so she used all her goodies to created MawMaw's cake. We were all very impressed! Here she is with her creation!

The rest of March has been filled with trackmeets, extra dance practices and an overload of work at the church! We did manage to squeeze Spring Break in there!! We didn't do much that week, mostly worked around the house, gave Ally's room a "big girl" make-over (I'll post pics when we are finished!!) and we went on a Spring shopping spree in The Woodlands.
My Mama has finished chemo & has moved on to radiation. She's finished up 2 weeks of the 6, so we are getting there! It's been a looong ride and we are all so ready for her to be finished! On top of it all, she had to have her gallbladder removed on the 27th. She's still really sore from the surgery, but overall she's doing good. She didn't even miss going to radiation today! That's one tough cookie, let me tell ya! Thank you so much for those of you that have been praying for her! There are no words to say how much we appreciate all the love shown to our family through this time.
We finished up the month with a Dance Competition on the 29th in Houston. The girls did great! Ally's team won two 1st place trophies with their dances and Beth's team won three 1st place trophies with theirs! Beth's group also won 3rd place overall! Here are the girls with my niece, Landry at the competition. Landry's team won a 1st place, a 2nd place trophy and Higest Overall-Beginner Group!! We are so proud of them!

Okie-dokie! Guess that about sums March up! I'll try to be better next moth about updating, I promise!
